“The world is but a canvas to the imagination.”
--Henry David Thoreau

Sometimes in the journey of life, it’s not the direct path, but the unforeseen route that leads a person to their destiny. A twist of fate diverted a photography trip planned for Yellowstone National Park to a new destination - the Colorado Plateau.

It was here, in this land of dramatic rock formations, stunning slot canyons and abundant archaeological ruins that I was first introduced to the beauty and wonder of this incredible place. This is where art, work and life all converged into one.

I specialize in capturing landscape imagery in the southwest canyon country and the Pacific Northwest. I work primarily with large-format film and digital cameras, creating beautiful, inspired images. My photographs are comprised of the following characteristics: extraordinary composition, stunning lighting and artistic imagination.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and a Master of Education Degree from Utah State University and have more than thirty years of professional experience.

What an extraordinary privilege it’s been to capture moments in time and share my vision with others.

My wife Sharyn and I reside in Meridian, Idaho.

Thank you for looking.
